Yes! Our founder, Sandro Roco, is a Queens-born (but NJ-bred) Filipino-American.

And Sanzo is a certified minority-owned business by the New York/New Jersey chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Our mission is to bridge cultures by connecting people to authentic flavors. We’ve enjoyed that for so many of you, Sanzo is a taste of home. As well that for others, Sanzo has been a source of discovery of flavors representing 60% of the world’s population.

We were inspired by a multitude of watershed milestones of increased representation for Asians/Asian-American Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) in TV, film, music, fashion and food. And we wanted to increase representation of Asian flavors on prominent grocery shelves across America.

While there are many noble causes to support, where we think we are most helpful and indebted is to the AAPI community that launched us and to the independently-owned restaurant community that put us on the map.

You can scroll through our Instagram to see how we’ve supported these communities plus healthcare heroes before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We can’t make any official claims, but here’s what we can tell you: our beverages are made using real fruit, no added sugars or any other weird stuff you can’t pronounce. We’re also gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.

We started Sanzo precisely because we couldn’t find beverages utilizing Asian flavors that coincided with modern diet and fitness trends.

No. While we appreciate the plethora of new beverages on the market containing these ingredients, our mission remains simple: to bridge cultures by connecting people to authentic flavors.

Nope. All Sanzo beverages undergo pasteurization, which allows our beverages to be “shelf stable”. That said, Sanzo beverages do have a “best-by” date printed on every can and case.

Hey, taste is subjective and we get that we may not be for everyone. And if you find you really don’t enjoy your Sanzo, email hello@drinksanzo.com within 30 days of your purchase to request a refund of up to one (1) 12-pack case.

That said, a few things we’d recommend before deciding outright that you don’t enjoy Sanzo:

Refrigerate your Sanzo for at least 4 hours or pour it over ice before enjoying. Sanzo is best enjoyed chilled.

Did you try all of our flavors? We recommend ordering a variety pack to start so you can figure out which flavors work best for you.
